Titanic Fact #183: After the Titanic’s sinking, the Olympic offered to take the survivors off the Carpathia and bring them to New York as she had more space aboard, but was turned down as it was thought that she might cause panic among the Titanic survivors as the Olympic was too similar to the Titanic.
