Titanic: the events that really occurred
[Deleted Scenes] Charles John Joughin was the chief baker at the RMS Titanic. He was off-duty when the Titanic was hit. He felt the collision and decided to stay in his bunk and drink his fate out. But after a while, he went onto the deck and helped the officers and stewards. He was assigned lifeboat 10, but refused to board it. He then returned to his cabin and drank for another 30 minutes or so. He was later seen throwing deck chairs into the water so people drowning could hold on to something to save their lives. Later on when the Titanic had sunk, Joughin had survived due to his huge intake of alcohol that had warmed his insides. [his testimony][deleted scene]
